Engineer Abdel -Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, received this evening, Sunday, the delegation of the new volunteers from the Korean Agency for International Cooperation (Koyka), in his office in the public library of Egypt, in a meeting that reflects the depth of international cooperation and its role in supporting cultural and societal development within the province.

The delegation of the new volunteers is fascinated by the city’s integrity .. It announces plans for women’s programs and the education of Korean for adults and children

The delegation included: Choi Yongong, Director of the Korean Volunteer Program, Basma Ehab, Assistant Director of the Program, Park Simi, Physical Education Coach, and Em Sora, Korean Language Trainer, along with Mohamed Hassani, Director of Egypt Public Library in Luxor, and Asma Senussi, Coordinator of the “Koyka” grant in the library.

During the meeting, the members of the delegation expressed their admiration for the longing of the city of Luxor, which they visit for the first time, expressing their happiness to work in this historic place, stressing their intention to provide new activities, foremost of which is the introduction of sports games for women, as well as programs to teach Korean language for different age groups, from children to adults.

Abdul Muttalib Amara praises the role of the Korean Agency and prepares a field visit to the library in support of development activities

For his part, the Governor of Luxor welcomed the Korean delegation, praising the ongoing efforts of the Korean Agency in supporting the public library of Egypt, especially in the areas of developing skills of children and youth, stressing the province’s interest in international partnerships that contribute to human building and support the culture of learning.

The governor concluded the meeting by emphasizing his near visit to the library to follow up on the field activities of the Korean program, praising the voluntary spirit carried by the members of the delegation, and their role in building cultural bridges between the Egyptian and Korean people.
