New passenger car records in Finland decreased by 3.8% during the period from January to July, compared to the same period last year, and this makes 2025 to date the worst year of sales in 3 decades, according to the Finnish Information Center for the auto sector on Wednesday.

The center added that the Finnish car market is among the weakest markets in Europe. Last year, only 13 new passenger cars were recorded per thousand people in Finland, and it is the fifth worst number in Europe.
As for approximately 37%of the new buses electric, and more than half of the new cars (55.5%) are electricly operating, while the entire electric cars represent more than a third (34.4%) of all new cars.
There is a higher percentage, with 36.6% of all new buses completely electric, along with 17% of small trucks and 2.3% of trucks, and at the same time, nearly 8% of new trucks are operating with biological gas.
While the entire electric cars are still only 5.3% of the total cars on the road, they constitute nearly half of the corporate cars and more than half of the imported used cars.
