The Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool wing, sent a touching farewell message to his former Uruguayan colleague Darwin Nunez, after he officially moved to the Saudi Crescent during the current summer Mercato.

Through his account on “Instagram”, Salah wrote: “I consider myself lucky because I had a colleague and friend, I have always been very honest and brought great positive energy wherever I go. I brought joy to our hearts and showed a high spirit in everything you did, we will miss you, and I wish you success in your new club. ”
Details of Nunez’s transfer to Al Hilal
Al -Hilal Saudi Club announced a few days ago the inclusion of the Uruguayan striker for a period of three years from Liverpool, to end its contract with the Blue Club on June 30, 2028. The deal came after a full agreement between the two clubs, in a move that strengthens Al Hilal’s attack for the coming seasons.
Nunez’s journey with Liverpool
Nunez joined Liverpool in the summer of 2022 from Benfica, Portuguese, and played next to Salah for three seasons. Last season, 2024/2025, he participated in 47 games in various competitions, during which he scored 7 goals and made them like them, before he had a new experience in the Saudi Professional League.
