Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al -Mualla, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Umm Al Quwain Charitable Society, confirmed that the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, has established its leadership position globally in the fields of giving and humanitarian and development work, until it became a humanitarian capital with distinction and standing for the values of brotherhood and coexistence. He said in a statement on the occasion of the International Day of Humanitarian Action, which falls on August 19 of each year: “We are proud of in the UAE with a record of giving, turning into a national culture and a life approach in the state’s policies and institutions. Our country has proven that the human dimension constitutes a fixed pillar in its foreign policy, and that human solidarity is an effective force for the manufacture of change.
