The Al -Faris 3 initiative, launched by the UAE, immediately after the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza, sent a convoy of life and hope 2, which includes a large shipment of urgent medical drugs, devices and supplies, to support the sector’s hospitals and enhance its ability to continue providing health services to patients and wounded under the difficult circumstances.
Life and Hope … a new Emirati convoy to support Gaza hospitals
Dr. Abdul Rahman Hamad Al -Eryani, Director of the Emirati Field Hospital, confirmed during a press conference inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, to announce the details of the convoy, that the convoy that arrived in the sector aims to cover the severe shortage of supplies and medicines in light of the depletion of hospital stocks.
He added, that the hospital continues, as part of the efforts of the Al -Faris 3, to provide medical assistance to support the health sector in Gaza, noting that the convoy included quantities of medicines and various medical supplies, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian brothers and enhancing the resilience of the health sector in the difficult circumstances.
Sherif Al -Nayr, the media official in the Al -Faris 3, stressed that supporting the health sector in Gaza is a top priority for the Emirates since the start of the operation, stressing that medical and emergency convoys are continuing without interruption to meet the needs of hospitals and patients, and to confront the health disaster left by the war.
Dr. Mohamed Zaqout, Director General of Hospitals in the Ministry of Health, appreciated the Emirati humanitarian role and medical convoys that provide it, stressing that the arrival of medicines and supplies to hospitals represents a qualitative addition to health services provided to patients and injured in Gaza, and reflects real solidarity with the people of the sector in the most difficult conditions.
He stressed that the support provided by the UAE comes at a time when the health sector suffers from inventory depletion of medicines and medical consumers, which makes these medical convoys urgent and very important.
This initiative comes in response to the increasing needs of the health sector, which has been facing a suffocating crisis for nearly two years as a result of the war on the Strip, and the process aims to enable hospitals to continue to perform their vital role towards the population.
This convoy is part of a series of caravans and aid that the UAE continues to provide in the context of its permanent commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and enhancing the resilience of the health sector in Gaza.
