According to the astronomical association in Jeddah, the conjugation occurs when the planets or heavenly bodies are lined up on almost one line for the observer from the Earth, which makes it appear close even though the real distances between them are enormous. In this case, both the Earth, Venus and Jupiter are located on the same side of the solar system, which is known as engineering lineup.
During the event, the flower will look almost more bright than Jupiter, as its virtual diameter is – 4.0 for -1.9 for the buyer, while the buyer appears about 2.5 times larger when it is monitored by the telescope, allowing seeing its four large lubors as a small stars around it. As for the flower, it will appear as a disk similar to the humpback moon.
This conjugation represents a golden opportunity for astronomical photography enthusiasts, as the scene can be documented with close and small telescopes to pick up the two planets with their moons before the morning light is overwhelmed.
Starting on August 13, the apparent distance between the two planets will start gradually, making the night of August 12 more appropriate to monitoring. Despite the repeated conjunctions of Venus and Jupiter, the associations with small separators are relatively rare. The last very near conjugation was on April 30, 2022 with a 0.2 -degree separator, but it was low on the horizon and difficult to see, while the August 2025 conjunction provides better viewing conditions in terms of rise and clarity.
It is expected that an event similar to this proximity and clarity will not be repeated until November 2028, which gives this scene a great visual and educational value, and gives lovers of observing the sky an opportunity to meditate on the beauty of the universe and the harmony of its movement.
