During the past week, Egypt witnessed an unprecedented heat wave, sweeping various parts of the Republic and recorded record temperatures that exceeded all expectations. The temperature in some areas of Upper Egypt reached about 49 degrees Celsius, which is a precedent in the history of the country’s summer, especially in the summer of this year 2025.
The date of the new hot wave
After the end of the hot wave last Friday, citizens asked whether Egypt is exposed to a similar hot wave in the remaining few days of August? Especially since this month is the peak of summer, to be ready to deal with any similar free wave in the country.
In this regard, the Meteorological Authority, Dr. Manar Ghanem, said that the wave that Egypt witnessed in the recent period will not be repeated until the end of the current month, even if the temperature increased and the humidity rate increases.
Manar Ghanem added, in a television intervention with the Sabah Al -Balad program on the Egyptian “Echo Al -Balad” channel, that the wave witnessed in the country is not the last hot wave to Egypt, where the country is expected to be exposed to other free waves, as the peak of the summer is in July, August and the first of September, so it remains a full month on the end of the summer.

What is the expected weather tomorrow?
For its part, the Meteorological Authority announced that the weather tomorrow is witnessing wind activity that helps to soften the atmosphere in the country with the excitement of sand and dust in South Sinai and the south of the country and areas of Siwa and Salloum.
She added that the maritime navigation movement is expected to be disturbed in areas of the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea coasts, and some low clouds may appear in the north of the country to Greater Cairo to result in light rains in Matrouh, Salloum and Al -Alam.
