International Youth Day coincides with an occasion to celebrate youth around the world, and to emphasize their vital role in making future. In Bahrain, the Bahraini youth is an example of ambition and creativity, as it effectively contributes to the development of society through innovation, local initiatives and community participation.
This day everyone reminds the importance of empowering Bahraini youth in education, training and practical opportunities that enhance their skills and capabilities to lead and creativity. It also encourages their involvement in decision -making and national projects, to have an influential voice and a tangible impact on the development process.
Supporting the Bahraini youth is not just an ethical duty, but a strategic investment to ensure a prosperous future for the Kingdom. On this day, we celebrate the creativity and aspirations of young people, and the Kingdom of Bahrain has a great role for their interest in youth as the main pillar of building the country and making the future. The wise leadership was keen to launch initiatives and programs aimed at empowering young people politically, economically and socially, and providing the appropriate environment to highlight their creative energies in various fields.
The establishment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, institutions and youth centers comes to embody the state’s commitment to open broader horizons for young people to participate in decision -making and community service. Bahrain has also contributed to providing professional training and qualification opportunities, and encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation, in order to enhance the role of youth in advancing sustainable development. These efforts reflect Bahrain’s deep belief that young people are the real wealth and the main driver to achieve progress and prosperity, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, affirmed that “Bahraini youth are the source of pride and the source of hope”, which reflects the wise vision of leadership and making young people the main pillar of the march of development and prosperity, and we remember that the future of Bahrain begins from today’s youth.
