The governor pointed out that the Labor Directorate, led by Dr. Hazem Ali, Undersecretary, and through the Governance Department, implemented a joint inspection campaign on facilities at Sahel Selim Center, where 32 facilities were passed, which resulted in the editing of 15 immediate records of occupational safety and health violations, and 3 immediate records regarding the employment of children in the prohibited professions to work, in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Labor Muhammad Jubran and in implementation of the provisions of Ministerial Resolution No. 215 of 2021.
Abu Al -Nasr added that 14 facilities for various labor violations were also warned, while educating the owners of the establishments of the necessity of adhering to the application of the law, applying the minimum wage, and not operating children because of the danger to their lives and their future.
The Governor of Assiut stressed that the supervisory campaigns are continuing in all the centers of the governorate, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, to follow up the commitment of establishments to legal and humanitarian standards in the work environment, in implementation of the state plan to safeguard workers ’rights and achieve sustainable development.
