The Public Prosecution concluded today, in cooperation with the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies and the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), the activities of the training program on restorative justice in Tamkeen cases.
The closing day of the program witnessed the participation of the President of the Public Prosecution, Nasser Ibrahim Al -Shaib, which is concerned with regulations of restorative justice, as he reviewed the concept of mediation in criminal matters, its goals and the legal framework organized for it, in addition to the procedures followed to contribute to the recovery of funds.
During the program, the participants learned about the latest legislative and procedural methods in managing and completing the criminal case, in order to achieve deterrence and restraint and ensure money recovery.
This program comes within the framework of the Public Prosecution’s keenness to develop the mechanisms of reformist justice, and to enhance awareness of the created means to achieve restorative justice between the parties to the lawsuit.
