Dr. Ahmed Al -Minshawi, President of Assiut University, said that the university is witnessing the implementation of an integrated program for summer student activities for the academic year 2025, organized by the General Administration of Student Welfare, as part of its keenness to invest the summer vacation period in developing the skills of its students and refining their capabilities.

The activities will be held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Madiha Darwish, General Supervisor of Student Activities, and Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration for Student Care, and with the participation of administrators and specialists.
Throughout the leave, university students, throughout the leave, participate in a wide package of cultural, artistic, sports and social activities, as well as workshops and training courses that focus on leadership, entrepreneurship and teamwork, as well as volunteer initiatives and community services.
Dr. Al -Minshawi stressed that the university seeks through these activities to launch the creative energies of students, discover their talents, develop their practical and personal abilities, and enhance their awareness, noting that student activity is an essential pillar in the integrated educational process, and contributes to preparing students who are able to lead and take responsibility in the future.
Dr. Abdel -Mawla explained that the activities are witnessing an increasing demand for its distinguished training and educational content, entertainment activities and competitions that contribute to preparing a conscious generation capable of facing the challenges of the future, praising the efforts of those in charge of its organization.
Cultural activities included specialized training courses, including a “genius preparation” course that covered the fields of literature, history, science, geography and mental capabilities, and the course “TV reporter and radio and media presentation” that dealt with the skills of successful reporter and effective communication with the public.
In the field of arts, the “needle and detailed arts” workshops organized workshops and “Fine Arts” with a regular table during the month of August, with the provision of raw materials and specialized trainers. As for sports activity, the activities of the training centers were launched on group and individual games, in addition to the fitness program under the slogan “Your Pulse Your Life”.
Mobile and public service activities also included scouting, cultural and technical exercises, and awareness seminars on combating addiction and confronting terrorism and extremism, as well as lectures and practical applications in land navigation and organizing the Scout Samar, as part of activities held in late July and early August.
