Supervisors of the “I am a talented” program, which is organized and supervised by the Committee for Equal Opportunities and Balanced Gender in the sports field of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, continued their field visit to the participants in the weightlifting program, with the aim of seeing the course of the technical and training program and getting close to the efforts made in talent care and the champions industry in this sport, in the framework of his field visits to clubs and sports federations Patriotism.
The program’s delegation was headed by Salama Mohamed Atiq, director of the Ihoub project, who praised the great work presented by supervising coaches in the field of developing the game and creating the appropriate environment to discover and refine youth energies.
Khaled Al -Dawi, Secretary of the Federation, and Ali Yahya, a member of the Board of Directors and the technical director, along with Mohamed Othman, coach of the Bahraini weightlifting team, participated in the visit, where they welcomed the initiative, stressing that this visit represents an important step towards enhancing cooperation between the two sides in a way that serves the future of Bahraini talents.
The meeting included a brief presentation on the Federation’s programs and strategic plans aimed at upgrading the technical level of the national teams, and the development methods were discussed within the “I am talented” program to provide emerging players the necessary experiences and expand the base of practitioners for this sport.
The attendees emphasized that the integration of efforts between sports federations and the “I am talented” program is an essential pillar for building a sports generation capable of representing Bahrain, the best representation in various regional and international forums.
