In the context of its firm commitment to empowering Bahraini youth and qualifying them to engage in the labor market, Gulf Bank, one of the most prominent Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced the launch of the new version of its annual training program for the year 2025, in the future a new batch of male and female students from various universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad.
This program comes as an extension of the bank’s continuous efforts to embrace and train university students, as it provides them with an integrated training experience that includes the theoretical and practical aspects, and allows them to identify the banking work environment, and acquire the skills and knowledge that qualifies them to start confidently in their career after the conclusion of their academic studies.
This year, the program witnessed the joining of 40 students from a number of universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad, to start their training in the various departments of the bank, under the supervision of specialized banking cadres keen to provide an interactive and fruitful training experience for the participants.
This pioneering training program from the Gulf Bank is one of the important initiatives that it has been organizing annually since its establishment in 2004, as part of its strategic approach to qualifying young competencies, and providing them with practical skills that enhance their readiness to join the labor market, in support of the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain in enabling national energies and enhancing the sustainability of the national economy.
On this occasion, Mrs. Fatima Ahmed Al Bin Ali, Director of Human Resources Department in Gulf Bank, stated: “We are proud to continue to present this fruitful training program year after year, and it embodies our commitment to our social responsibility, and our keenness to qualify and develop the expertise and skills of national cadres to be a basic tributary of the continuity of the development of the banking sector in Bahrain.”
