The village of Shanwan, affiliated to the Shebin Al -Koum Center in Menoufia Governorate, will witness today, Saturday, the continuation of search operations for a small body that drowned in the Shebin Sea, on Friday, accompanied by his uncle, where the river rescue forces managed to extract the body of the young man yesterday, while efforts are still ongoing to find the body of the child.

Yesterday, Shebin Al -Koum Educational Hospital received the body of the young man from the people of Shanwan, amid a state of great sadness between his family and the villagers, while everyone is still awaiting the exit of the second body of the child to bury him next to his uncle.
Major General Alaa Al -Jahar, Director of Menoufia Security, received a notification from the chief of Shebin El -Koum Police Station, that a young man and his sister’s son drowned in the Shebin Sea in the Shanwan area, and immediately the river rescue forces were pushed to start the search and recovering the two bodies.
A security force moved from the Shebin Al -Koum police station to the location of the incident, and by asking the family of the two victims, they confirmed that the young man tried to save his sister’s son from drowning, but he was unable, and drowned together.
The force released a report of the incident, and the investigation authorities who are carrying out their work were notified, while the river rescue efforts were continuing to find the child’s body.
