On the twelfth of August of each year, the world celebrates the International Youth Day, which is the day that is devoted to highlighting the aspirations and creativity of youth throughout the year, through their vital role in building societies and achieving comprehensive development as partners in drawing the bright future of the country.
The World Youth Day this year comes in conjunction with the approaching anniversary of the World Youth Work Program, which devotes its goals to support this distinguished category, as they are active elements in sustainable development and participatory governance, which are two major topics for the agenda this year, which is of exceptional importance with the world approaching towards achieving the goals of Vision 2030 that calls for actual measures that lead to adopting university policies and programs that invest work Al -Shababi to achieve the desired goals.
The Kingdom of Bahrain has always been considered one of the first countries in adopting national strategies that believe in the role of the pivotal youth in building the future and the manufacture of change, as it is a role model in empowering young people through national programs and entrepreneurial initiatives that open up spacious horizons towards development by investing in young minds in light of the great support that the wise leadership of this important group of society led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country May God protect and preserve him, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, by preparing young people to take various leadership sites and involve them in developing government work, in addition to the relentless efforts by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness is keen to encourage young people to express their opinions Performing major and important roles in society as the pillar of sustainable development.
The International Youth Day carries multiple indications that reflect the position of young people and their vital role in building societies, by enhancing their participation in the drawing of public policies, and providing a supportive environment for their ideas and aspirations, as it constitutes an important station to reflect on the role played by young people in the renaissance of their homelands.
In conclusion, we stress that this day is considered an opportunity to evoke the important role of young people who represent the pillar of development, prosperity and success, in order to enrich the development and progress process at the national and global levels for a more sustainable future.
