The city of Fayoum recently witnessed a qualitative shift in the transportation and transportation system, which was to transfer Egypt’s position on its old railway location to its new location in the Al -Mawaqqa complex in the Keiman Fares region, and this decision was well received and welcomed among the people of the city, who expressed their great satisfaction with this measure, which effectively contributed to reducing traffic jams and providing a more organized and comfortable environment for travelers.
A qualitative shift towards traffic regulation and the comfort of citizens
This decision came within the framework of the efforts of Fayoum Governorate to develop infrastructure and improve the services provided to citizens, under the leadership of Dr. Ahmed Al -Ansari, Governor of Fayoum and Dr. Mohamed Al -Tony, Deputy Governor of Fayoum, where the old position was suffering from continuous traffic congestion, especially in peak times, which caused great inconvenience to drivers and passengers alike.
Despite the modernity of the new situation, the signs of success began to appear quickly, as it was equipped to receive larger numbers of cars and allocate organized crying for the different lines heading to Cairo, which facilitated the process of climbing and going down on the passengers.
In meetings with a number of citizens, they expressed their happiness with the new situation, and Mohamed Abdel Salam, the employee, says: The difference is vast, we were suffering daily from the heavy crowd in the old position, but now the place is organized and wide, and reaching the transport vehicle is much faster.
For his part, Ahmed Fathi Ibrahim, the driver, confirms that the transfer was a necessary step. I expected to face difficulty in adapting to the new place, but the organization exceeded all expectations, we no longer waste time searching for a place to stand, and this is reflected on our trips, as the distance has become shorter and the time we spend is less.
As for Azza Ibrahim, the school, she referred to the security and service side of the new position characterized by greater safety, as it includes important service facilities such as breaks and chapels, and this gives us a feeling of comfort and reassurance while waiting, the decision of transportation was in the interest of everyone, and we hope that such development measures will continue.
The opinions of citizens indicate that the transfer of the situation was not just a change in the site, but rather a radical transformation towards a more efficient and flexible environment, serving the public good and fulfilling the needs of travelers better.
