Dar Al Uloom at Cairo University launches the first academic workshop for graduate students in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030

The Faculty of Dar Al Uloom at Cairo University witnessed the launch of the activities of the first academic workshop for graduate students, which come within the framework of supporting Egypt’s Vision 2030, the national strategy for higher education and scientific research, and the strategic plan for Cairo University, as well as the goals of sustainable development.

The workshop aims to rehabilitate researchers academically and intellectually, through awareness and training programs that seek to enable them to have sober scientific research tools, and link their theoretical knowledge to the challenges of reality, in a way that contributes to activating the role of humanities in serving society issues and achieving sustainable development.

The college, headed by Dr. Ahmed Bilboula, Dean of the College, and under the supervision of Dr. Safwat Ali Saleh, Vice -Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, confirmed that this workshop comes within a comprehensive systematic plan to develop the scientific research system in the college, based on the adoption of innovative applied research projects consistent with national priorities.

Through this workshop, the college seeks to build a flexible and contemporary research plan, which is based on international experiences in the fields of linguistic, literary, legitimate, philosophical, and social studies, in order to support the ability of researchers to provide innovative solutions to societal problems, and enhances the contribution of humanities in building a person and the advancement of society.

The workshop witnessed a remarkable interaction from graduate students, who stressed the importance of this type of program in developing their research skills, and preparing them for the requirements of the academic and vocational labor market alike.

This step comes within the framework of the Dar Al Uloom College’s keenness to be a pioneering house for science and knowledge, and a real tributary in enriching human thought, and participating in achieving national development goals.
