Dakahlia Governor inspects the one -day market
The governor stressed the necessity of taking immediate legal measures against any violations or manipulation of prices, stressing the possibility of canceling the license of any seller proven to be violated.
He explained that the aim of establishing a single day market and sales outlets is to provide various food products at competitive prices that suit the entry of medium families and low -income people, to contribute to alleviating the burdens of living, in coordination with the Ministry of Supply.
During his tour, the governor, Dr. Al -Saeed Ahmed, head of the East Mansoura neighborhood, in coordination with the accountant Ali Hassan, Director of the Supply Directorate, directed to study the establishment of the market on a daily basis and turn it into a permanent market instead of working only two days a week, due to the great demand from citizens, and the increase in the quantities of goods offered.
The governor also met a number of citizens who frequent the market, who confirmed their benefit from the discounts of more than 30%, and praised the efforts of the parties participating in the market regulation, from local units, service directorates and follow -up committees.
Marzouq pointed out that the governorate has expanded in the outlets of selling different commodities, such as safety outlets and the future of Egypt and against high prices and outlets of vegetables and fruits in various centers and cities, to facilitate citizens’ access to their needs, stressing that the operating rooms in the governorate receive any complaints about prices or the quality of products and are dealt with immediately.
