D. Al -Kooheji: “The Supreme Women” is a milestone in the march of empowering and presenting Bahraini women

Dr. Fatima Abdul -Jabbar Al -Kohaji, a member of the Shura Council, confirmed that the Supreme Council for Women has formed a lofty vision from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, a milestone in the march of empowering Bahraini women, where he worked to establish their position and enhance their effective contribution to national development.

On the occasion of the twenty -fourth anniversary of the founding of the Supreme Council for Women, d. Al -Kooheji is the great interest and continuous support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to enhance the position of Bahraini women, praising his directives aimed at expanding the circle of women’s participation in national development programs, and enabling them to actively contribute to various government initiatives and projects, which reflects the government’s commitment to achieving social justice and consolidating the principle of equal opportunities for all members of society.

She praised the prominent role played by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of His Majesty the King, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, in directing the work of the Council, through qualitative strategies and initiatives that contributed to building a pioneering Bahraini model in the field of supporting, empowering women and progressing at the legislative, economic and social levels.

She indicated that the Shura Council continues its role in consolidating the legislative gains of women, by reviewing and enacting laws that enhance their societal participation, and support their aspirations in various sectors, stressing that supporting and empowering women represents one of the basic pillars of building a balanced and comprehensive society, capable of achieving comprehensive and sustainable development
