Dr. Sameh El -Hafni, Minister of Civil Aviation, conducted an inspection tour of Al -Alamein International Airport, accompanied by pilot Wael Al -Nashar, President of the Egyptian Airports Company, in light of the high operating rates and the increasing number of tourists and visitors from different countries of the world and in conjunction with the launch of the activities of the new El Alamein Festival 2025.

The tour included inspecting the travel and arrival halls, areas of completion of passengers, and ground services sites, as well as following up the workflow in operating and control rooms and the banking area, customs and passports, and Al -Hafni directed to raise the readiness of work teams and facilitate all procedures to ensure the provision of distinguished services, stressing the importance of providing a high -quality and high -quality travel experience that reflects Egypt’s position as a global tourist destination.
The Minister of Civil Aviation stressed that Al -Alamein International Airport is one of the main pillars in supporting the state’s plan to develop the northwestern coast, as it serves the new city of El Alamein and the northern coast region, and contributes effectively to stimulating air and tourism traffic, explaining that the political leadership pays great attention to developing the airport to integrate with the comprehensive development plan and attract more local and foreign investments to the region, as it is one of the major development projects currently witnessed by Egypt.
Al -Hefni also pointed out that the activities of the new Al -Alamein Festival 2025, which includes a bouquet of cultural, artistic and recreational activities, contributes to enhancing the volume of tourism turnout and consolidating the city’s position as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Middle East; He praised the efforts made by all airport workers and continuous coordination between the concerned authorities to ensure the smooth flow of movement and achieve the highest rates of operational efficiency, reflecting the civilizational image of Egypt in front of its guests.
