The Coast Guard Command, in cooperation and coordination with the Northern Governorate Police Directorate, organized an awareness campaign on the coast of Al -Badi.
This campaign comes in implementation of the principle of community partnership with various institutions and members of civil society, and within the framework of the continued implementation of plans aimed at upgrading the awareness aspect related to public safety guidelines when going to coasts among all segments of society in order to preserve their safety.
Where the campaign included a review of safety guidelines and proper behavior methods in cases of marine accidents, in addition to keenness to follow the children and not leave them alone during swimming, and emphasize the importance of wearing the escape jacket and following the weather conditions to avoid swimming in the areas of marine currents or when the winds are very fast.
The campaign also included the distribution of awareness brochures in several languages and survival jackets to the coast.
