Belarus seeks to enhance cooperation with the Gulf states and establish investment centers

Cooperation between Belarus and the Middle East countries

Alexander Lukashenko stressed the importance of developing cooperation with other Middle East countries, adding: There are difficulties in Libya, but we are cooperating, and we welcome cooperation with Libya and Syria, as the Belarusian products are also required in Afghanistan.

Earlier, the Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Regenkov met with the outgoing Saudi ambassador to Belarus, Abdul Rahman Suleiman Al -Ahmad, residing in Moscow.

The Belarusian Foreign Minister thanked the Saudi ambassador for his great personal contribution to strengthening traditional friendly relations between Belarus and Saudi Arabia.

The two parties also discussed major bilateral issues, including trade, economic and political cooperation, and also defined steps to enhance cooperation in the near future.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Belarusian Bank, Roman Golovshenko, also held a meeting with the Extraordinary Ambassador and Commissioner of the United Arab Emirates to Belarus, Ibrahim Salem Muhammad Al -Mashriq in Minsk, according to the press service of the Belarusian National Bank of the News Agency.

According to the Belarusian News Agency, Belarus attaches great importance to developing its relations with the United Arab Emirates, which is one of its strategic partners in the region.

Roman Golovshenko emphasized that the two countries have strong friendship relations at various levels, politically, commercially and economically.
