Yesterday, Bahrain called on the former CEO of “Al -Watan” newspaper, Ibrahim Al -Husseini, after a humanitarian and professional march full of giving and accomplishing, as his body was buried in the Haniniyah cemetery in a sad evening, and his funeral was attended by large crowds of officials, media and citizens.
“Bou Mohamed” died at the age of 72, and he was a role model in his family and family, and he does not stop advising his son and his brothers to follow up on education and obtain graduate studies to serve themselves, their society and their homeland, as he advised them to master in work, sincerity and mastery in it, and not to leave the prayer and read the Qur’an because they are in the charitable of the world and the hereafter.
The late, God willing, Ibrahim Al -Husseini, was a lover of education and obtained many certificates, including a master’s degree in administration, as he was an example of sincerity and commitment, in all the positions he held, before he held the position of CEO of the newspaper in April 2012 until November 2023. His career began a teacher of English in the schools of the Ministry of Education, then he moved on the administrative work in the ministry, before he worked as a cultural attaché The Kingdom of Bahrain in the American capital, Washington.
Al -Husseini moved to the Ministry of Social Development and included in positions until he became a consultant, before moving to his closing professional station as the executive head of the newspaper “Al -Watan”. In all of these stations, it was a model for discipline and sincerity at work, as his colleagues and friends emphasize.
And he, may God Almighty have mercy on him, believed in the message of “Al -Watan” in the service of its homeland and society. During his work period, he contributed to the consolidation of the position of “Al -Watan” as a sober national platform, reflecting the values and principles that were founded on it. He was also keen to support national journalistic competencies, develop journalism to keep pace with variables, and contribute to the service of national, Gulf, Arab, Islamic and humanitarian issues.
Al -Husseini was distinguished by a deep strategic vision and a high ability to manage media work in the spirit of one team, which made his impact remaining on the work approach and its ethics within the newspaper. He left a human and professional imprint in the memory of all those who knew and worked with him.
And he, may God have mercy on him, urged everyone who knows them, the first of whom is his son, the children of his brothers and his family, to alms in secret and in public, and he had a disappointment between him and his Lord, with the charity of the secret to the enlightened people and those with needs – as some of his family and his loved ones assert – so that he does not know the north of what his right has spent. May God have mercy on the late deceased, and make him dwell in his spacious gardens, and we belong to God and to Him we shall return.
