What caught my attention in the report is that 84.8% of GDP came from non -oil activities, which is a number that impresses and causes optimism; From the tourism and hospitality sector, which jumped by 10.3%, to the financial sector and insurance, which continued its brilliance with a growth of 7.5%, through the construction and education sector, and even professional and real estate and trade activities that go with steady steps forward, as these numbers represent real evidence that the wheel of the economy is taking place in all directions.
According to the report; The foreign direct investment has grown by 3.5% to reach 17.1 billion Bahraini dinars, which means that investors’ confidence in the Bahraini economy is not a result of the moment, but rather a fruit of studied economic policies and an attractive business environment, where investors find a safe land, strong infrastructure, modern legislation and a wide horizon for growth and development in all fields, with official support, welcome and popular embrace.
The diversification of Bahrain today for income sources, attracting investments, and improving the level of services and infrastructure, represents a national project aimed at improving the life of the citizen first and foremost, so every increase in the output, every new job opportunity, and every investment that enters the country, is an additional step towards the well -being of the individual and the sustainability of the economy.
