Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, announced the organization of awareness seminars on breast cancer in cooperation with the Governorate Health Directorate, on August 6 and 7, at the headquarters of the Matrouh Media Complex.

The Governor of Matrouh appreciated the effective community participation efforts to enhance health awareness among citizens, stressing the support of community initiatives aimed at improving community health.
Seminars aim to highlight the importance of examination and early detection of breast cancer and methods of prevention with it with an explanation of the factors that increase the possibility of infection, through a lecture in supporting breast cancer warriors along with an open discussions to answer inquiries, distribute awareness publications and conduct an optional first examination for women.
The governor stressed the provision of all support and facilities to establish such initiatives and awareness seminars aimed at inviting women to attend to benefit from them in raising awareness of the danger of this disease and ways to prevent it.
