The Ministry of Works revealed that the detailed designs of the project to establish the sewage network in the 730 and 740 complexes have been completed, explaining that the project is listed in the future plan and showed “works” in its response to the inquiry submitted by the Municipal Council of the Northern Region on the developments of linking the sewage network to the two complexes, that the project is included in the future program of the Ministry of Works, and that the implementation of the project is subject to the availability of financial credits The necessary, and to obtain the approvals of the service authorities related to the work permit.
For his part, the representative of the Sixth Northern Municipal Director Abdullah Ashour stressed that the two complexes have been missing the sewage network for more than 20 years, and that they depend on the municipal tanks to suck the sewage and sewage, which makes the region live in a great tragedy.
He explained that the municipality’s suction tanks are linked to a dates system, and sometimes a delay in the timing of the suction dates occurs; Because of the increase in the number of homes that depend on the suction operations, in addition to that some of the region’s homes suffer from the overpopulation of the population of more than one family in one house, which leads to the flooding of wastewater and its leakage to the roads, which in turn leads to pollution and the spread of unpleasant odors, and the occurrence of social problems among the population in the region.
He called for a rush to solve the problem that extends for two decades, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Works and the Sewerage Department.
