Decisions of the Governor of Assiut
Immediately after receiving the Crisis and Operations Room in the governorate, the governor issued his urgent instructions to pay ambulances and civil protection, and to separate the facilities in order to preserve lives, while assigning the rapid rescue teams to take the necessary insurance measures for the region.
Immediately, Khaled Abdel -Raouf, the Assistant Secretary -General, and Mustafa Ali, head of the Abnoub Center, moved to the accident, to follow the rescue work, raise the rubble and coordinate with the relevant authorities to contain the repercussions of the accident.
The Governor of Assiut directed the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health to provide full medical care to the hospital’s injured, as well as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, to quickly intervene with relief teams, provide psychological and social support to affected families and pay urgent compensation.
Major General Hisham Abu Al -Nasr also expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the deceased, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and directed the formation of an engineering committee to inspect the site of the accident and explain the causes of collapse, and to examine the neighboring houses to ensure their safety in order to ensure the lives of citizens while continuing the field follow -up until the completion of all the necessary work and procedures.
