The price of soybeans futures has increased to its highest level since the third of last July, after the US Department of Agriculture announced that it has been unexpectedly reducing its cultivation.
Soybeans futures increased November delivery on the Chicago Stock Exchange by 1%, to $ 10.432 per bushl, according to Bloomberg.
This rise is supported by expectations that the total US stocks of the 2025-2026 season will decrease to its lowest level in about three years.
It is reported that American farmers had already reduced the agriculture area earlier due to the trade conflict between the United States and China.
