He also stressed that 90% of global trade depends on the freedom of maritime navigation, and any obstacles to this path may affect the movement of trade and the entire global economy, indicating that the region represents a major passage for international trade for thousands of years, which doubles the importance of the role that the group plays in protecting freedom of navigation.
On Omar, the carrier, “Nemetz”, Admiral Goldmar explained that she was built for a service of up to 50 years, and she is now approaching her fifty -first year, stressing that plans to get her out of service are still under preparation, and that she will continue to perform her duties until new Ford aircraft carriers enter the service.
