Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, denied what was circulated on some social media pages regarding the suspension of vaccination against rabies rabies at the Republic Hospital in Alexandria Governorate, as a result of the disruption of the electronic operating system Al -Sissem, stressing that the service continues and did not stop at any time.

Abdel Ghaffar said, in an official publication, that as soon as the circulating post, which included allegations of a large number of citizens gathered in front of the hospital vaccination room, and their lack of vaccination after they were subjected to people of dogs due to the disruption of the system, the hospital administration was contacted and the full details were verified.
He explained that the hospital has already witnessed a temporary technical failure in the electronic operating system as a result of technical update procedures, but this did not affect the workflow or providing the service to citizens, as the paper registration mechanism was activated immediately as an alternative to ensuring the continuation of the service without disruption or waiting.
Abdel Ghaffar confirmed that the ministry reviewed the records of surveillance cameras inside the hospital during the communication period, and it was found that what was stated in the circulating publication was not valid, as there was no registration of any crowding or accumulation in front of the rating vaccination room, and no stopping was monitored in providing the service.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Health stressed that the ministry is pursuing the mechanisms of providing vaccination services of all kinds, especially the vaccination of sarcia, because of its great importance in protecting the health of citizens, calling on the pioneers of communication sites to investigate the accuracy in spreading information, and refer to official sources before circulating any data that may cause concern without justification.
