The Egyptian facts in issue 174 issued on August 9, July 2025, published the Minister of Justice Resolution No. 4336 of 2025, regarding the establishment of a specialized prosecution in public funds cases under the name of the Ismailia Appeals Prosecution for Public Funds.

This came after reviewing the constitution, the Criminal Procedure Law, and the Civil and Commercial Procedures Law:
On the Judicial Authority Law issued by Law No. 46 of 1972, and on the decision of the Advocated Attorney General No. 661 of 1992 to reshape public funds and determine its jurisdiction, and the decision of the adviser, Attorney General No. 1285 of 2024 to reorganize the competencies of public funds, and on the book of the adviser, the Attorney General of 2025/6/30
The first article stipulates that a specialized prosecution in public funds issues is established under the name of the “Ismailia Appeal of Public Funds” headed by a member of a prosecutor with at least a public lawyer, and it is assisted by a sufficient number of members, and it is based in the Ismailia Courts Complex located in Shebin Al -Koum Street in Ismailia Governorate.
The second article stipulates that this prosecution is concerned with investigation and disposal of crimes of embezzlement of public funds, aggression against it and treachery stipulated in Chapter Four of the second book of the Penal Code and the crimes associated with it, in the Department of Ismailia Appeal Prosecution, taking into account what was included in the decision of the Public Prosecutor No. 1285 of 2024 to reorganize the competencies of public funds.
