A Brazilian man drew attention recently after participating in a 8 -km running race, wearing a slipper, in a funny incident that turned into a turning point in his life.

According to Eddy Central, Isaki Doss Santos Benio, 31, he decided to join spontaneously to a race held in his hometown of Garvao de Norte on July 27, with the aim of reducing the alcohol hearing he was suffering from, and although he was not an official registrar and did not wear a sports shoe, he rushed among the runners at the launch signal, to document the scene drone and spread widely Social media.
Isaki was unable to maintain a fixed speed throughout the race, but he insisted on completing it and eventually got a supplementary medal, after the spread of the video, the attention of journalists and the public began with his story, especially after he revealed his suffering with homelessness and alcohol addiction since his difficult childhood, during which he grew up with his mother only after his father abandoned him.
The video published by Estela La Rizeri helped him to obtain support from donors who sent him shoes and sportswear, in addition to calls for training with professional hostility, and Garvao de Norte municipality offered him to participate in future sporting events, and announced that it would help him start a new life.
Estela made it clear that the efforts of the activists have already succeeded in removing it from the streets, with a plan to build a house for it. As for Isaki, he confirmed that he had quit alcohol since his participation in the race, saying: I changed my life and I will continue to change, I receive a lot of support and I will not give up.
