A judicial decision in Germany sparked widespread controversy, after being allowed to officially change his gender to a female, to spend his sentence in a prison for women.

According to Audity Central, the local Hala Court in Saxony, in July 2023, had issued a ruling in Marla-Savinia Liphish prison known previously as Sven Liphish for a year and a half without a conditional release, after being convicted of inciting hatred, defamation and insult.
According to German media reports, Lebesh is linked to an extremist right -wing group called blood and honor, and after losing the appeal of the ruling, Lebesh resorted to the end of 2024 to benefit from the law reporting the new sexual fate in Germany, which allows changing the name and sex through a simplified administrative procedure, and registered himself as a legal woman under her new name.
The move raised widespread doubts about its motives, as the Der Spiegel newspaper indicated that Lebesh might have exploited the law in a manner with the aim of provoking the state, especially as it is known for anti -gay statements and transgender people in the past, and last January, the media considered that it is unlikely to be transferred to the women’s prison, but Lebesh filed a lawsuit against the newspaper in defense of its new identity.
The Public Prosecutor in the city of Hala confirmed that Lebesh will spend his sentence in Kamitz Prison for Women, which was announced by the convict himself through his account on the X platform (formerly Twitter), where he said that he will begin the implementation of the punishment on August 29, 2025 at ten in the evening.
The controversy is still standing around his place of detention inside the prison, as it has not yet been decided whether it will be placed between the prisoners or in a special department, pending the evaluation of the prison administration for its danger to internal security.
It is worth noting that the Law of Report sexual fate, which came into effect last year, sparked a sharp debate in Germany on the possibility of abuse by some individuals to achieve personal or political gains.
