A fire broke out, inside an apartment in the seventh floor in a 11 -storey residential property, located on 52 Zahra Street, behind the Kuwaiti Mosque, in the Maadi Police Department in Cairo.

Civil protection in Cairo received a report stating that heavy smoke was emitted from one of the apartments, and the civil protection forces in Cairo, supported by two firefighting cars, immediately moved to the accident site, to control the flames and prevent their extension to the neighboring apartments.
The initial inspection confirmed that the fire caused damage to the contents of the apartment, while the causes of the outbreak of the fire are currently being examined, in preparation for preparing the necessary report and submitting its results to the competent investigation authorities.
The region is currently witnessing a security presence to regulate traffic and secure the site of the accident, while the concerned agencies continue its work to ensure the safety of the property and the absence of any construction risk to its residents.
