The International Handball Federation team held a coordination meeting, to discuss the final arrangements for organizing the 19 -year -old World Handball Championship, which Egypt hosted from August 6 to 17, with the participation of 32 teams from different continents of the world, under the slogan: Egypt receives the world.
Review the organizational committees and work mechanisms during the tournament
The meeting witnessed a comprehensive review of the work plan during the championship period, where the attendees discussed the mechanism of coordination between the different committees, and ensuring the progress of organizational and technical processes according to the highest standards, in line with the regulations of the International Federation and the organization of major championships.
The International Federation team stressed the importance of integration between technical, organizational, medical, and media committees, with the aim of the success of the global event and the presentation of an exceptional version that reflects Egypt’s organizational efficiency and its ability to host international sporting events.
Preparations at the highest level
This meeting comes within the framework of the International Federation’s keenness to follow the smallest organizational details before the start of the competitions, and to provide all the appropriate conditions for the participating teams, in terms of residence, stadiums, transportation, and logistical support services.
Egypt is preparing to host the tournament through four main gyms, with the distribution of matches in eight groups, amid a global interest in the expected event, which is a platform for discovering promising talents in world handball.
