More than 10,000 flight attendants at Canada Airlines entered a comprehensive strike, after negotiations with the company’s management of wages and working conditions stumbled, in a move expected to affect travel plans more than 130,000 passengers per day, according to American media.
The Canadian Federation of Public Sector Employees, which represents the hospitality crew, confirmed that the strike will last for 72 hours, and also includes the company’s low -cost arm “Air Canada Rouge”, which prompted the company to suspend all its flights on the two lines starting on Saturday.

The company said in an official statement: We advise the affected customers not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed ticket on board another airline other than Canada or Air Canada Rouge, noting that the strike will affect about 130 thousand passengers per day.
The hosts are demanding a financial compensation for the time they spend on the ground between the flights, in addition to the wages they currently receive only while the plane moves, as well as improving the working conditions during the rise of passengers.
