The Ministry of Health and Population has announced the provision of 52 million and 925 thousand and 329 free medical services within 34 days, since the start of the third edition of the “100 Health Days” campaign, which started on Tuesday 15 July 2025, in the framework of working to improve health services provided to citizens throughout the Republic.
Health: A 100 -day health campaign provided 52.9 million free medical services within 34 days
The campaign comes in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, and his affirmation of the importance of strengthening national health initiatives, and its role in raising the efficiency of the health system and achieving comprehensive health coverage.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the campaign presented the day before yesterday a million and 791 thousand and 576 free medical services, noting that the campaign provides its services with the participation of 12 different sectors, as each sector had an integral role in implementing the campaign and achieving its health and development goals, and according to this cooperation, the campaign provided about 664 thousand and 855 services through the care sector through the care sector Basic.
“Abdel Ghaffar” said that the “100 Health Days” campaign provided 458 thousand and 836 services through the treatment care sector, in addition to providing 110 thousand and 659 services within the presidential initiatives for public health, and the preventive medicine sector provided 50 thousand and 163 services.
“Abdul Ghaffar” pointed out that the campaign provided 50 thousand and 152 services through the units of the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes, while the initiative to support mental health “Your Health Happiness” provided 6 thousand and 500 services, and the campaign also provided 232 thousand and 560 services through the hospitals of the General Authority for Health Insurance.
“Abdul Ghaffar” added that the ambulance authority provided 5 thousand and 866 emergency services, while 105 thousand and 284 services were provided through the hospitals of the specialized medical centers, in addition to conducting 3 thousand and 202 operations within the waiting lists, while the hospitals of the medical institution provided 33 thousand and 505 services.
And “Abdul Ghaffar” continued that the “100 Health Days” campaign provided awareness and health education services to 69 thousand and 994 citizens, through community communication teams deployed in public areas, clubs, and commercial centers (malls) in various governorates, with the aim of raising health awareness and directing citizens to benefit from the services provided by the campaign, as well as organizing educational seminars and various awareness activities.
