Modern statistics related to the achievements of Bahraini women for the year 2024 revealed their prominent role and participation in all governmental and private sectors, and their acquisition of important centers within their political, economic, social, municipal and other participation, as the percentage of ministers in the government constitutes about 22%, and its participation in the government sector reaches 60%and in the private sector 36%.
It is stated in the most prominent statistics published on the website of the Supreme Council for Women, that the percentage of ministers in the government reaches 22%, and the participation of Bahraini women in the government sector reaches 60%, and the participation of Bahraini women in executive jobs reached 50%, and reaches 64%for their participation in specialized jobs.
With regard to political posts, it constitutes 25%in the Shura Council, about 20%in the House of Representatives, and their percentage in municipal councils is recorded by 10%, and the largest percentage in the capital’s secretariat, as Bahraini women’s participation constitutes about 40%, while their percentage in the private sector constitutes about 36%.
Bahraini women strengthened their role and place in the specific fields, as the percentage of Bahraini female doctors reaches about 66%, and in the field of nursing 83%, and the percentage of academies in higher education institutions constitute about 57%, while Bahraini engineers constitute 37%, and about 14%judges, and lawyers constitute 57%, according to statistics in 2024.
