Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, stressed that Cairo’s hosting of the AI Everything Conference in February 2026, in its first version, represents an international recognition of Egypt’s pioneering role in the telecommunications and information technology sector, noting that the choice of Cairo as a destination for the conference came to possess specialized human cadres and prominent experts in various fields of digital technology.
Minister of Communications: 60 countries participate in the AI summit in Cairo
The Minister said, during television statements, that the conference is organized by a global company specialized in organizing major events in the field of information technology, with the participation of more than 60 countries and a large number of international and local companies, stressing that this momentum will create direct interactions and communications that open the door for new projects and attract international investments, as well as encourage international companies to establish new outskirts in Egypt, in a way that contributes to providing job opportunities for youth and attracting hard currency For the country.
Dr. Amr Talaat pointed out that Egypt has expanded significantly in the outsourcing industry during the past years, which is based on attracting foreign companies to establish centers inside Egypt and employ local experts to implement projects for the benefit of clients abroad, which provides direct job opportunities for young people and contributes to strengthening the national economy.
