The Football Association confirmed in an official statement that it was agreed to attend 50 thousand fans for the match between Egypt and Ethiopia, to be held at ten in the evening, Friday, September 5, in Cairo Stadium, within the seventh round of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup finals, according to what was coordinated with the relevant authorities.
The Football Association explained that the tickets for the match will be launched through my ticket system, at reasonable prices to provide an opportunity for the fans to attend extensively, and coordination has also been made to open all stadium stands to accommodate the prepared numbers of fans.
Al -Ittihad stressed that this comes within the framework of the firm Egyptian Football Association that the Egyptian fans always represent the main supporter of the national team, and that their presence and support in this match is a decisive element in the team’s march towards qualifying for the World Cup.
Egypt is preparing to face Ethiopia in Cairo on September 5, then Burkina Faso will face the latter’s stadium on September 9, as part of the 7 and 8 rounds of the World Cup qualifiers, and if Egypt wins in the two meetings it will formally ensure qualification to the World Cup 2026.
It is scheduled to organize the Pharaohs in a closed camp from 1 to 9 September, in preparation for the confrontations of Ethiopia and Burkina Faso.
