5 people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred, today, after the driver of a taxi car was lost as a result of a sugar coma, which led to a run over a number of passers -by and the overturning of the car, on Ahmed Helmy Street coming from Abu Wafia towards Shubra, next to the ambush of Abboud, in the Sahel Police Department.

According to the preliminary examination, the driver’s loss of control of the vehicle led to his collision with several people who were walking on the street, before the car turned at the accident site. Ambulances were pushed to transport the injured to the Nasser Institute to receive the necessary aid, while no deaths have been recorded so far.
The security services continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident and hear the statements of eyewitnesses, in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures.
