Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary -General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the reinforcing iron companies provided discounts in the reinforcing steel worth 2200 pounds, equivalent to 6%, explaining that the price of a ton of cement decreased by 20%.
Chambers of Commerce: 2200 pounds an additional reduction in iron prices by about 6%
The Secretary -General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce added that the Chambers of Commerce met with merchants and the people at the level of the 27 governorates, and the summer oakazians enlarged with the Minister of Supply and started from August 4 for a month.
Ezz added during the press conference of the Prime Minister: We have arrived 1,600 stores that participated in the oakazion and provide discounts from 10 to 50%, and most importantly, the oakazion continues until the start of schools, and therefore school requirements will be available with the same discounts.
The Secretary -General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce explained that the Ministry of Supply began the initiative through the holding company and an influence, which is more than 1,000 consumer complexes at the level of the Republic, offered discounts from 5 to 18 %, for 640 commodities that include 15 basic commodities.
Alaa continued: There are meetings with producers and importers in cooperation with commercial chains, all in offering discounts from 5 to 20% on counterpart commodities and some engineering goods are electrical supplies and reach 20% and some brands reached 35%.
He added: There is a decrease in car prices from 10 to 25 % on the locally manufacturer and imported, noting that the prices of vegetables decreased by 10 % compared to the same month last year.
