The government media office in Gaza announced that 1115 humanitarian aid truck entered the sector during the past 13 days, out of 7,800 trucks that were supposed to be entered at a rate of 600 trucks per day, equivalent to only 14% of the actual needs of the population.
The statement pointed out that Israel continues to prevent the entry of aid in sufficient quantities, noting that most of the trucks are being looted due to what it described as “fabricated security chaos” from the occupation forces, in addition to the continued closure of crossings and undermining the work of humanitarian institutions.
He also pointed out that Tel Aviv continues to close the crossings and undermine the work of humanitarian institutions, which prevents meeting the minimum needs of 2.4 million people, amid almost complete collapse of the infrastructure due to the war and continuous extermination.
Earlier today, UNRWA announced that it had not been allowed to enter any humanitarian aid to Gaza, including medicines and medical supplies for more than 5 months.
UNRWA stated in an official statement that 86.3% of the Gaza Strip is still in the Israeli military zone, according to displacement orders, or when these orders overlap, noting that nearly 1,400 people were killed and more than 4,000 others were wounded while searching for food.
UNRWA also emphasized that the health response in the Gaza Strip is still facing operational challenges, including the serious damage to health facilities, obstacles to safe moves, and restrictions imposed on entering medical supplies and fuel.
UNRWA’s medical services suffer from resource deficiency, and nearly 60% of the agency’s basic drugs are depleted, and UNRWA no longer has medications to treat high blood pressure, no antibiotics for adults, nor anti -parasitic products, nor iron supplements for children.
