The Bahrain Basketball Federation account on the Instagram platform has achieved record numbers in the rates of interaction and views, during the period of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of the twenty -sixth edition of the Arab Basketball Committee, which concluded its competitions on Saturday evening.
The statistics of the official platform of the Federation revealed that the number of views reached 10,643,512 views, while the number of accounts that interacted with the content reached 443,393 accounts, an increase of 47.3% compared to the previous two weeks of the tournament, which reflects the extensive interest and follow -up of the championship and the associated media content.
The data showed that the posts (POSTS) acquired the largest percentage of interaction by 61.9%, followed by the short video clips (Reels) by 23.8%, then the stories (Stories) by 14.3%, and the followers of the account constituted 65.8%of the viewing volume, compared to 34.2%of the non -followers.
On this occasion, Mr. Ghazi Radhi, a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Media and Marketing Committee of the Bahrain Basketball Federation, expressed his pride in these striking numbers, stressing that it reflects the great media success accompanying the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of the tournament.
Radhi pointed out that the federation was keen from the first day to provide professional media coverage through digital platforms, to transfer the championship atmosphere and its course to the fans in Bahrain and the Arab world, stressing that the results reflect the success of the approved media strategy.
He added that the federation will continue to invest in digital content, and enhance its presence on various social media platforms, in line with the aspirations of Bahraini basketball, and its endeavor to reach the largest segment of followers.
