The National Elections Authority, headed by Counselor Hazem Badawi, announced the results of the Senate elections 2025 in Giza Governorate, which witnessed a remarkable participation of voters, amid strict organizational procedures and under full judicial supervision.
1.7 million valid votes in the Sheikhs elections in Giza
According to the official statement, the number of voters enrolled in the Giza database reached 6,566,932 voters, while their votes made 1,784,448 voters, with a participation rate of 27.17% of the total of those entitled to vote within the province.
The Governorate’s General Committee recorded 1,724,136 votes, with 96.62% of the total votes made, compared to 60,312 votes, with 3.38%.
The authority emphasized that the electoral process in Giza Governorate took place in an atmosphere of commitment and discipline, and according to the highest standards of transparency, which reflects the awareness of citizens of their role in choosing their representatives within the second chamber of parliament, and enhances the position of popular participation in decision -making.
The names of the winners or candidates for the return round in the department are scheduled to be announced in the coming hours, according to the results of the final numerical restriction of each candidate after the end of the appeals examination.
