The branch of the National Council for Women in Sohag, headed by Dr. Sahar Wehbe, launched a campaign of doors to the activities of the initiative together with consciousness.
A national campaign to empower women in Sohag in preparation for the 2025 sheikhs elections
Dr. Sahar Wehbe emphasized that the National Council for Women is keen to support the empowerment of women politically, through extensive awareness campaigns, which highlight her role in decision -making and building the future of the country, stressing that the participation of women in the elections is not only a constitutional right, but a national duty that reflects its awareness of the issues of their country and their responsibility towards it, and added that the Egyptian women have proven a national presence in all past elections.
The campaign messages included direct invitations to participate: your voice protects your country, go down and participate .. Egypt is protesting, while emphasizing that women are an integral part of the equation of the present and the future, and that their presence in the electoral scene establishes the principles of equality and citizenship.
The campaign witnessed an effective participation from the members and members of the Council’s branch, and the rural pioneers, under the supervision and follow -up of a number of women leaders in the governorate, in the centers of Tahta, Qalqa, Dar Al -Salam and Akhmim, and for two days, with the participation of Dr. Asmaa Abu Al -Dahab, Dr. Doaa Al -Sharif, Futtinah Labib, Nisreen Al -Najjar, Dr. Sherine Wasfi, Dr. Marwa Shaban, and Dr. Haniyeh Munir.
