During the coming hours, the corridors of the Football Association will witness an important session between Eng. Hani Abu Rida, President of the Federation and the Colombian Oscar Ruiz, head of the main referees committee.
A post -postponed session
It was scheduled that the Abu Raida and Oscar session will be held yesterday, but it was postponed due to the large number of the president of the Football Association, to be postponed to this day.
According to sources revealed to Cairo 24, the Abu Raida and Oscar session will witness the stability of the new formation of the Referees Committee, amid weightings that names join the committee, such as the retired referee, Muhammad Al -Hanafi, as well as the possibility of Hamdi Al -Qadi, a former committee member to the new formation of the committee.
The sources pointed out that the current formation of the Referees Committee may witness the exit of a name or two names from it, while the sources indicated the possibility of removing Dr. Azab Hajjaj, director of the committee from the new formation.
Abu Raida’s session with the Chairman of the Referees Committee is also expected to witness the final decision regarding the fate of the senior rulers over the age of 45.
Oscar Ruiz wants not to extend the 45 -year -old referees, while some voices within the Football Association board see the need to extend them for an additional season to benefit from their experiences in the new season, especially since most of them are able to provide good performance on the field.
