Ahmed Al -Shatheri, head of the local unit of the Tahta Center and City, in Sohag Governorate, continued the activities of the general consultation session to disclose the investment plan for the fiscal year 2025/2026, which comes as an affirmation of the importance of community dialogue and the role of citizens in drawing local development policies.

Al -Shaturi delegated to attend the session from Ahmed Abu Hammam, Ahmed Mahmoud Hassan, the deputy head of the center, Khaled Abdel -Hakim, Secretary of the local unit, in the presence of the heads of village councils, the director of planning and community participation, public relations officials, committees and conferences.
During the session, the most prominent proposals of the investment plan for the new fiscal year were reviewed, with the door to dialogue and discussion with citizens on the priorities of the projects and their impact on improving the quality of the services provided, ensuring the implementation of projects that achieve the actual benefit of the largest number of population.
A number of representatives of the executive and service agencies participated in the events, including the sectors of drinking water, sanitation, electricity, health and supplies, along with a large number of people from various villages and areas of Tahta, who expressed their opinions and proposals in all transparency.
The head of the local unit, in his speech conveyed by his deputies, stressed that community participation is not an option, but rather a necessity to ensure the optimal directing of investments, explaining that the local Tahta unit pays great attention to direct interaction with citizens and consulting with them in everything related to their present and future.
This session comes within a series of interactive meetings aimed at enhancing confidence between the citizen and the local government, and creating a participatory development environment that expresses the needs of Al -Tahtawi Street, and translates it into realistic, implemented plans.
