Meta plans to give up the version of the WhatsApp application for work on the Windows system in the form of an original application for NATIVE App, and the use of an application that depends on its work on the service engine and interface for the service, which is known as WhatsApp Web.

The Verg website stated, in a report that the latest version of the WhatsApp application for the Windows system has started providing the new experimental update, which changes the user experience, which has become less modern and interactive, besides it depends on the same way to work WhatsApp via the website, which provides less experience in features and immersion compared to the application in its previous form, which was launched a few years ago.

The report stated that the experimental update changes the WhatsApp application on Windows, and makes it a more primitive version in terms of the interface of use, settings and the method of notifications.

The experimental version includes access and interaction options with the WhatsApp Channels channels, more practical features to update Status and Communities.

Meta is used with the new update the Microsoft Edge Webief2 browser engine to run the new version of the WhatsApp application, which facilitates the ability to present the WhatsApp Web interface in an application on the desktop.

Windows Latest justified a dead decision as an attempt to simplify and focus efforts to work on developing only one software code, for both the desktop and the web site for WhatsApp, instead of working on two different software codes.

The WhatsApp platform always advised its users, through its blog, to download its original application for Windows because it “offers better performance and consumes a lower capacity than random memory on personal computers.”

WhatsApp recently launched its application for iPad devices, a long -awaited feature by Apple tablets users.
