Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, held a coordination meeting to discuss the governorate’s preparations for the Senate elections scheduled for 4 and August 5 in the presence of the governor’s deputies for the four regions, security officials, directors of services directorates, heads of public transport and cleaning bodies and heads of boards of directors of sanitation, electricity, water officials, and ambulance facility.

The Governor of Cairo stressed that the governorate has completed the preparation of a central operations room under its chairmanship at the Center for the National Emergency and Public Safety Network in the governorate for coordination and linking with all the concerned authorities to prepare electoral headquarters to receive voters in Cairo, which number about 8 million and 544 thousand and 319 voters, distributed over 544 sub -committees within 336 electoral centers.
The Governor of Cairo explained that the governorate stands at the same distance from all candidates and that its role in the upcoming Senate elections is limited to completing the preparation and preparation of electoral headquarters and providing logistical support to those responsible for it, and working to provide comfort for citizens while making their votes and adhering to the rules of the National Elections Authority and standing up to all neutrality towards all candidates.
The Governor of Cairo urged citizens to participate in the elections and exercise their constitutional right by choosing the candidate they want without interference from anyone, stressing that participating in the elections is a national duty for everyone and the citizen must realize that his participation has a positive role in the democratic path of the homeland.
The Governor of Cairo added that the executive bodies in the governorate have been assigned to form an operations room in each party and link them to the central operations room formed by its chairman Electoral centers, raise any occupations and raise street efficiency and lighting.
The Governor of Cairo confirmed that simple maintenance work was reviewed in schools that were chosen as electoral centers and to ensure the validity of external doors and toilets and lighting, and the availability of a court room to secure the polls, a room for the insurance forces overnight, the availability of the freedom extinguishers, and an emergency scout.
Dr. Ibrahim Saber Ali is the necessity of providing a number of moving chairs for people with special needs and the elderly in the committees and providing parking spaces for them, coolers, making umbrellas and reviewing firefighters in electoral centers and committees by knowing civil protection and reviewing internal lighting in the committees and electoral centers with the knowledge of the northern and southern electrical companies and providing a reserve source for the electricity.
The Governor of Cairo also emphasized the Health Affairs Directorate to raise the degree of readiness of hospitals and coordinate with the ambulance facility to deploy ambulances and distribute them near the electoral centers to confront any emergency.
The Governor of Cairo also called on the Public Transport Authority to coordinate with the passage of Cairo to facilitate traffic and provide the necessary lines for voters to reach their committees easily and easily.
The Governor of Cairo stressed the heads of neighborhoods to raise all cars from the vicinity of the committees in coordination with traffic and provide a safe campus for each committee to facilitate citizens when making their votes.
